meBetter.today is a goal-first productivity web app that helps you focus on what matters most. We are an independent project, not a large corporation. We care about your privacy and handle your data responsibly.
When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google — we do not receive or store your Google password.
When you use the app, we store the data you create: your goals, daily tasks, focus sessions, tags, and progress data. This is stored securely in our database (hosted by Supabase) and is only accessible to you.
Your data is used solely to provide the app's functionality — showing your goals, tasks, progress, and generating AI-powered suggestions. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
We use AI services (via OpenRouter) to refine your goals and suggest tasks. When this happens, only the relevant text (your goal description or task context) is sent to the AI provider. No personal identifying information is included in AI requests.
Your data is stored on Supabase servers with row-level security enabled, meaning only you can access your own data. We use HTTPS encryption for all data transmitted between your browser and our servers.
We use essential cookies only for authentication (keeping you logged in). We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or advertising cookies.
We use the following third-party services: Supabase (database and authentication), Google (sign-in), OpenRouter (AI features), and Vercel (hosting). Each of these services has their own privacy policies.
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by visiting our account deletion page or contacting us. You can also export your data upon request.
We may update this policy as the app evolves. We will notify users of significant changes through the app.
